KINDERGARTEN - 2ND GRADE GAMESCHOOLING
Kindergartners - Second Graders play board games while older siblings participate in 4th hour activities. There is so much to be learned from playing games: Strategy, strengthening math skills, taking turns, fair-play, and good sportsmanship. Lower elementary kids will enjoy the experience of playing against their peers (no unfair matches with older siblings or toddlers to ruin the game board). Students participating should be mature enough to take turns and lose gracefully. 5$ a student. Each family participating should donate an age appropriate game. It can be used, but should have all its pieces.
4TH HOUR: 1ST-5TH PAINTING
Tutors: Muehlhausen, Peters
Paint, paper, brushes and go! Kids will get to explore color blending and multiple types of paint. Projects may include painting 3D objects. Expect some gentle prompts but the main thing is to just get the kids painting and **no home clean up!!**
Supply Fee: $10-20 provides supplies for full year of monthly classes (tentative)
4TH HOUR: 3RD-5TH BOOK CLUB
Students should come this class expecting to have FUN. Trivia, discussion, food & games! We will read a variety of different genres throughout the year that will interest both boys and girls alike. We will be meeting during lunchtime to enjoy a tasty lunch while having a good time.
